Accounting Financial Consultant
Central Consulting Group, a leading reseller of Deltek software products, is growing nationally. We seek an Accounting Financial Consultant to utilize his or her talent to assist companies with implementing accounting and business management software.
Deltek is the leading provider of software for project-based professional services organizations. Deltek software products provide accounting, billing, resource planning, budgeting, CRM, employee time and expense, HR management and project management tools.

As our Accounting Financial Consultant:
You will work primarily with professional service firms such as architecture, engineering, management consulting and IT to serve as a knowledgeable consultant on product implementations. You will work as part of a team to ensure well-coordinated and timely implementations.

Job duties will include:

  • Understand and follow the project plan for client implementations (timeline, budget, schedule, statement of work, training plan, etc)
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and system design specifications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of setup and process flow for respective modules
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve for clients
  • Document implementation and system related issues and participate in the collaborative resolution of these issues
  • Conduct application training

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Software experience in Deltek Advantage, Deltek Vision, Wind2, Solomon or Great Plains or related accounting and job costing application
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • 5-7 years in a consulting, project management or accounting role
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • The ability to travel and work from either a company office or a virtual office
  • Experience with implementing accounting systems, billing systems, electronic time/expense systems and payroll
